Job description

Location: Edinburgh & Glasgow

Our Cyber Security team uses modern technologies to enhance the visibility and protection of our systems, services, and data. Over this two-year graduate scheme, you’ll apply your technical skills to help safeguard our organisation while developing expertise in incident response, security platforms, and cyber assurance.

You’ll also gain experience working across our wider technology teams, giving you a clear understanding of how everything fits together. To help you get off to the best start, you’ll spend time supporting our customers directly as part of our Customer Service team.

Salary: £34,000 Programme start date: 6 September 2027 Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our office, 2 days per week for this position.

  • Drive and deliver on our security strategy and operational activities to help protect Tesco Insurance and Money Services • Solve large-scale challenges to protect colleagues, customers, and our business. This section is here to help you get a feel for what each scheme is about and what might suit you best. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the skills listed - we don’t expect you to. We’re looking for potential, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. We’ll support you to build the rest. • Problem solving is a big part of this area - enjoying problem solving or spotting risks can be useful • Things move fast, so being adaptable and open to learning is helpful • We value people who are curious about how things work and how to keep them safe • You don’t need a tech background — just an interest in working with others to find solutions. We value fresh thinking and new ideas, so you'll be encouraged to share your perspective, challenge the norm and help shape the future of our business. Most importantly, the work you do will make a genuine difference to our customers, especially when they need us most.
