Reporting to the Stock Control Supervisor, the Used Car Stock Controller will work closely with wider stakeholders to ensure delivery quality of stock control is meeting and exceeding business requirements.
The Used Car Stock Controller will support the Supervisor, and Management Accountants in the reconciliation and verification of group stocks as well as aiding in the productions of monthly parts stock reviews for the sites.
What does the role of Used Car Stock Controller involve?
- Carrying out and fully complete monthly vehicle stock takes in conjunction with the sites to verify all group stock locations. Ensure completion in a timely manner for each franchise, with all supporting paperwork and sign off by the Management Accountants.
- Produce and analyse parts month end reports for amendments, adjustments and negative stock
- To assist in the monitoring of completion of the monthly perpetual stock verifications for Parts at site.
- To be a trainer for your fellow team members where required on all areas of the Stock controller role
- Assist in the sharing of best practice across the SSC
What do you need to succeed as Used Car Stock Controller?
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided
- Strong administration and Excel experience
- Be comfortable working under pressure
