Are you an experienced automotive Sales Manager with a strong track record of delivering results?
Vertu Land Rover Taunton is looking for a talented Used Car Sales Manager to lead our used car operation and drive performance across the sales team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious automotive brand, leading a team of Business Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues while delivering an exceptional experience for every customer.
As Used Car Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the used car sales department, creating a high-performing environment focused on customer experience, profitability and operational excellence.
- Leading, coaching and developing the sales team to achieve their individual and departmental objectives
- Managing a structured and controlled sales process, with strong first and second-facing activity
- Driving used vehicle sales, finance and appropriate add-on product performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency
- Managing sales campaigns and promotions to maximise opportunities
- Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service throughout the sales journey
- Creating an engaging, accountable and performance-focused team culture
- Ensuring the dealership operates to the highest ethical and compliance standards
We are looking for an established Sales Manager with proven motor industry experience and a strong record of delivering commercial results.
- Previous automotive Sales Management experience
- A proven ability to drive sales, profitability and operational performance
- Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to motivate a team and create a high-performance culture
- A customer-first approach with integrity at the heart of your leadership style
- A full UK driving licence
