Everyone who works at Lidl brings something unique to the table - but we also have a whole lot in common. We’re hard-working, focused, and reliable. Just like you.

NOW RECRUITING ALL SHIFT PATTERNS (5/7 days per week fixed shift):

Afternoon (PM): 13:30 - 22:00

Night shift: 21:30 - 06:00

As a Warehouse Operative (Distribution & Recycling), you’ll help keep our warehouses running smoothly, making sure stock is sent to the correct stores efficiently and in good condition. From counting pallets to loading trailers, it’s your energy that helps us work hard and get the job done.

Our warehouses never stop running, and neither does our transport team. You’ll roll up your sleeves, work with your colleagues, and become a pro at everything you do. This is a fast-paced role where your passion for accuracy helps turn everyday tasks into real wins – reducing our carbon footprint by making sure pallets are in the right lanes, keeping things moving, and making a difference every single day.

Our brand-new, state-of-the-art Warehouse in Leeds is set to open in April 2027! To ensure you are fully prepared and empowered for launch day, your journey with us will include comprehensive, paid hands-on training prior to the site opening:

  • Neighbouring Regional Training (Doncaster, Runcorn, Newton Aycliffe): You will gain initial operational experience across our neighbouring regional sites. To make your journey hassle-free, Lidl will provide a dedicated coach service to and from work each day during this training period (travel time included in working hours).
  • Luton RDC Training: You will also spend time training at Luton - Lidl’s largest RDC - to learn and master our newest, cutting-edge Warehouse Management System (EWM).

In return, we’ll give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, with an additional £2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.

We’re proud to be supportive teams with big ambitions too, so there’ll be plenty of ways for you to progress. With the right training, we’ll help you thrive in your role and champion you to succeed in your career here.
