Based in Elmsall, West Yorkshire as Third Party Logistics Logistics Finance Lead, you’ll oversee financial performance, provide commercial insight and act as the primary finance contact for clients and operational management teams.

Working at the heart of Finance and Operations, you’ll help drive financial performance, identify opportunities and support the growth of our New Business logistics operations.

  • Financial Control & Reporting: Own weekly reporting, client billing and month-end processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strong financial controls.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting for New Business logistics operations, providing financial modelling and analysis to support new client opportunities.
  • Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with clients and operational stakeholders, presenting financial insights and challenging performance where appropriate.
  • Commercial Performance: Participate in weekly operational calls, analyse cost drivers and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Improve financial processes and reporting, promote best practice and deputise for the Finance Manager (New Business) as required.

  • Experience in finance, ideally within a Third Party Logistics or warehousing environment, with an understanding of key operational cost drivers.
  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA), or qualified by experience.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; SQL experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights.
  • Confident communicator, able to influence operational stakeholders and present effectively to clients.

Enthusiastic, ambitious and proactive, with a drive for continuous improvement.
