At Vertu Ford Orpington, we’re excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to join our established and supportive team. If you’re looking to grow your career with one of the UK’s largest and most secure motor retail groups, this could be the role for you.
We are offering a basic salary of £35,000 OTE £40,000 plus company benefits. Your working hours will be 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
We are also offering a £1,000 sign on bonus in month 1 of employment and an additional £1,000 in month 13!

The Service Advisor role plays a key part in ensuring every customer has a positive, clear and supportive experience. You’ll act as the connection between our customers and our workshop team—helping people feel informed, valued and confident throughout their visit.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating clearly, and creating a welcoming, trusted environment for customers.
What you’ll do
- Setting clear expectations and guiding customers through each stage of their vehicle’s service or repair
- Giving regular updates in a communication style that works best for the customer
- Identify opportunities to offer additional products or services that may benefit the customer
- Follow up after work is completed to ensure satisfaction
What we’re looking for
- Experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of people in a supportive, respectful manner.
- A proactive approach to meeting targets, managing your time and staying calm during peak periods
- Confident using computer systems and managing multiple tasks
