Job description

We are hiring a performance and data driven Senior Paid Social Executive to join our eCommerce Marketing team! Based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire with great benefits such as staff discount, company bonus and more!

Paid Social is a fundamental pillar of our digital expansion strategy in the UK. As a Senior Paid Social Executive, you will be responsible for planning, execution and scaling performance campaigns that hit company revenue targets and deliver profitable returns.

You will report directly to the Paid Social Lead and will drive channel performance across key growth platforms including TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit in the UK.

As the resident paid social expert, you will combine sharp analytical rigour with strong platform execution, identifying optimisation levers, testing creative formats and refining targeting strategies to continuously push these channels forward.

  • Plan, build and optimise performance campaigns across TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit to consistently meet and exceed business KPIs.
  • Continuously analyse performance metrics, perform data analysis and execute granular daily/weekly optimisations (bidding, budgeting, audience segmentation and placement performance) to maximise return on ad spend.
  • Support the planning and manage the execution of robust testing frameworks. Conduct structured channel tests, including conversion lift studies, audience segmentation and creative tests.
  • Work alongside internal data science, and finance teams to validate measurement, monitor incrementality and accurately assess channel efficiency.
  • Oversee day to day channel performance with our media agency and nurture direct relationships with TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit account teams to unlock beta access, platform features and competitive benchmark insights.
  • Deliver regular, transparent performance updates. Translate raw campaign data into clear executive insights and actionable growth recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Keep pace with evolving user behaviours across paid social advertising channels. Work closely with channel partners to secure alpha and beta testing.

  • Proven years of hands-on experience managing paid social performance campaigns, with a strong history of scaling budgets and delivering profitable growth.
  • An agency background or in-house experience within the eCommerce / Retail environment is preferred.
  • Proficient with Ads Managers across channels (TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit).
  • A strong understanding of analytics/attribution tools, supported by a broad social media understanding.
  • Highly numerical with an eye for data. You know how to dissect metrics, spot trends in large data sets, and translate data into smart optimisation decisions with support from our data science team.
  • Have a baseline understanding of platform tagging, pixel management and Conversion API integrations.
  • High attention to detail with a logical, problem solving mindset when troubleshooting campaign delivery, pixel setups, or audience overlap.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with internal teams, external agency partners, and channel representatives.

You know Next, but did you know we’re a FTSE-100 retail company employing over 44,000 people across the Next group. We’re the UK’s 2nd largest fashion retailer and for Kidswear we’re the market leader. At the last count we have over 450 stores, plus the Next Online and it’s now possible to buy on-line from over 80 countries around the world! So we’ve gone global!
