Are you an experienced automotive Sales Executive looking for your next opportunity?
We’re looking for a confident and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our successful team at Vertu Renault Plymouth.
With a £27,000 basic salary, £45,000 OTE and uncapped commission, there’s fantastic earning potential for someone who is driven to succeed, with top performers able to earn up to £60,000.
We know that a successful career shouldn’t mean sacrificing your work-life balance.
You’ll work a 40-hour week across five 8-hour shifts, with a guaranteed day off during the week. Saturdays are an important trading day and will form part of your normal working pattern, but we’re closed every Sunday, giving you a consistent day each week to switch off and recharge.
You’ll also receive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training to help you settle into the role, develop your skills and maximise your earning potential.
As a Sales Executive, you’ll take ownership of the customer journey from the initial enquiry right through to vehicle handover.
You’ll build genuine relationships with customers, understand their individual needs and provide a professional, enjoyable buying experience that keeps them coming back.
You’ll be joining a supportive, high-performing dealership where customer experience, results and your own development are equally important.
What we’re looking for
- At least 12 months’ current or recent experience as a Sales Executive within the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- A positive, motivated and results-focused approach
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as part of your normal working week
- A full UK driving licence, covering manual and automatic vehicles
As a values-driven business, how you behave matters. You’ll be expected to act in good faith at all times and consistently deliver the right outcomes for our customers.
Representing the dealership every day, you will set the standard for integrity. It’s your responsibility to ensure the products and services you offer genuinely meet customer needs, protect them from harm and encourage long-term loyalty. Building trust should be at the heart of every interaction.
To protect our customers and our reputation, you will be required to complete a DBS check, along with regular fit and proper person assessments. We will also request references from previous employers as part of our pre-employment checks.
We’re committed to investing in our colleagues and providing opportunities to develop and progress your career.

- Uncapped commission
- Online rewards platform with cashback and discounts across multiple retailers
- Preferential Service Rates
- Colleague Purchase Scheme
- Share Incentive Scheme
