An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fashion Retail Manager to join a growing premium women's fashion brand in the heart of Harrogate.
This is not a corporate retail environment where you're simply keeping the lights on. This is a brand with ambition, personality and significant growth plans. You'll have the chance to play a key role in shaping the success of a beautiful, high-profile store whilst developing a passionate team and representing a brand that continues to evolve.
Due to business needs, we're looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Based in a sought-after retail location within Harrogate town centre, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the store, leading a team of seven including a Supervisor and Key Holder.
Reporting directly to the Head of Retail, with support from the People & Culture team, you'll be empowered to make decisions, drive performance and create an exceptional customer experience.
We're looking for a leader who treats the business as their own, someone who is accountable, proactive and commercially focused, whilst recognising when to seek support and guidance.
- Driving store sales performance and KPI achievement
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of seven
- Recruitment, onboarding and retention of talent
- Conducting appraisals, reviews and regular coaching sessions
- Managing rotas, resource planning and day-to-day operations
- Delivering exceptional customer service standards
- Working closely with Head Office and Merchandising teams
- Maintaining outstanding visual merchandising standards
- Supporting stock management and inventory control
- Ensuring brand values and image are consistently reflected throughout the store
- Creating a positive, high-performing culture where people can thrive
What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced retail leader from a fashion background with a passion for people, performance and customer experience.
- Proven experience managing a fashion retail team
- Strong commercial awareness and KPI management experience
- Experience recruiting, coaching and developing employees
- Excellent organisational and operational skills
- A hands-on leadership style
- Reliable, responsible and capable of working autonomously
- Ability to lead by example and inspire those around you
Desirable
- Background within premium, contemporary or luxury fashion retail
- Experience managing a high-profile store environment
Working Hours
- Monday to Sunday operation
- Two days off per week
- 9:00am - 6:00pm
- 3 weekend days off per month
Salary up to £38,000
33 days holiday including bank holidays
