Job description

Home. There’s no place like it.

And there’s no feeling like helping people create the joy of feeling truly at home. At Dunelm, that’s what we do. We’re the UK's number one choice for homewares because we make home life lovelier for our customers. And we’ve crafted a workplace that feels just as welcoming, where you can bring your ideas, be yourself and feel right at home.

Work your way, together

We’re a hybrid business, which means you’ll have flexibility alongside time together with your team. In this role, you can expect min 1 day per week in our London office, helping you stay connected, collaborate and do your best work for our customers.

We’re looking for a Product & Delivery Manager to play a key role in an exciting Commercial transformation programme at Dunelm.

You’ll be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of critical capabilities that connect our key business systems, with a particular focus on data integrations and the flow of information across multiple platforms and teams. You’ll coordinate dependencies across several delivery teams, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to turn requirements into clear, achievable delivery plans.

This is a highly collaborative role. You’ll need to be comfortable operating across multiple teams, managing complex dependencies and bringing together technical and business stakeholders to keep delivery moving. A good understanding of data, integrations and technical business requirements will be important, alongside strong stakeholder management and delivery skills.

Experience within Commercial, Retail or eCommerce would be beneficial, but more important is the ability to understand complex technology landscapes, create shared understanding and drive outcomes across multiple teams.

What you'll be doing

Product delivery and planning

  • Lead end-to-end delivery from discovery and definition through build, release, adoption and handover into operational ownership.
  • Translate strategic objectives and roadmap priorities into executable delivery plans.
  • Coordinate activity across multiple product, engineering, data, architecture, business and partner teams to maintain pace and alignment.
  • Ensure requirements are understood, appropriately defined and ready for delivery, balancing business outcomes with technical feasibility.
  • Maintain a clear, evidence-based view of delivery confidence and escalate material risks early with options and recommendations.
  • Ensure customer, commercial, operational and technical considerations are reflected within delivery plans.
  • Establish clear success measures and track delivery against agreed outcomes and benefits.

Data, integrations and cross-team dependencies

  • Own and coordinate dependencies relating to data, integrations and information flows across platforms and teams.
  • Work closely with technical specialists to understand data sources, interfaces, sequencing constraints and operational impacts.
  • Translate technical and business requirements into clear delivery outcomes that can be understood by both specialist and non-specialist stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps, conflicts and upstream or downstream impacts early, bringing the right people together to resolve them.

Governance, risk and reporting

  • Establish proportionate governance and reporting that supports timely decisions without creating unnecessary administration.
  • Maintain effective controls covering risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, actions, decisions and change.
  • Prepare concise updates for programme and leadership forums, tailored to the audience and decision required.
  • Track delivery against agreed outcomes, milestones and measures of success, making delivery trade-offs visible.
  • Support the transition of delivered capabilities into sustainable operational support and ways of working.

Stakeholder and delivery leadership

  • Build trusted relationships across Commercial, Technology, Data, Product, Engineering, Architecture and Operational teams.
  • Act as a key interface between business and technology stakeholders, creating clarity around priorities, scope, progress and outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions that clarify problems, resolve blockers and create accountable next steps.
  • Influence without relying on direct authority, aligning teams around shared objectives and delivery commitments.
  • Create an inclusive and collaborative environment where uncertainty can be raised early and handled constructively.

Partner and commercial delivery

  • Coordinate third-party delivery against agreed scope, milestones, quality and service expectations.
  • Support statements of work, onboarding, delivery reviews and supplier governance in partnership with Commercial, Legal and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure external dependencies, commitments and risks are visible and actively managed.

Continuous improvement

  • Improve product and delivery ways of working through feedback, retrospectives and practical use of data and collaboration tools.
  • Reuse simple, effective delivery patterns across teams while adapting governance to the scale and complexity of the work.
  • Use delivery insight to improve planning, prioritisation, predictability and value realisation.

What we'll look for in you

Essential experience and skills

  • Strong experience managing cross-team dependencies and complex technology delivery.
  • Experience of data management, integrations and data flows across multiple systems or platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence working across business and technology teams.
  • A technical background or strong confidence working closely with technical, architecture, engineering and data teams.
  • Ability to understand and translate technical and business requirements into clear plans and outcomes.
  • Strong planning, risk, issue and dependency-management skills, with the ability to create clarity from incomplete or changing information.
  • Experience delivering through cross-functional teams and third-party partners.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, product and delivery practices, with judgement to use proportionate methods.

Desirable skills

  • Experience within Commercial, Retail or eCommerce.
  • Experience delivering enterprise integrations, data products or capabilities across complex technology landscapes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes or multi-team delivery environments.
  • Good commercial awareness, including management of scope, suppliers, resource, timelines and delivery trade-offs.
  • Relevant product, delivery, Agile or project-management qualification.

  • Calm, pragmatic and organised, with a focus on outcomes rather than process for its own sake.
  • Curious and willing to challenge constructively when scope, ownership or requirements are unclear.
  • Takes responsibility, follows through on commitments and helps others do the same.
  • Builds trust through transparency, inclusive collaboration and early escalation of risks.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity while creating a credible route forward
