We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Internal Transport Manager to lead day-to-day operations within our Home Delivery Network. This is a key role in keeping our deliveries smooth, our teams supported, and our customers happy, because when things run well behind the scenes, it shows up in every doorstep experience.
You’ll be responsible for managing transport planning, driver communications, compliance, and depot coordination all while keeping a cool head and a clear focus. It’s a fast-paced environment, but you’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems, and help your team thrive.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and supporting the transport team, including drivers and clerks
- Managing route planning, vehicle scheduling, and driver workloads
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, legal, and company standards
- Handling customer service escalations and working closely with depot teams
- Monitoring performance, identifying improvements, and driving results
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of transport colleagues
- Overseeing daily transport operations and ensuring timely, safe deliveries

Education & Experience Requirements
- C.P.C. holder (essential) - I.O.S.H. (desirable)
