💷 Competitive Salary + benefits

At Moto, data plays a critical role in helping us make better decisions, improve performance and deliver a great experience for our customers. We're looking for a Data Support Manager to lead the support and continuous improvement of our growing data and reporting environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people leadership, service management and technical understanding. You'll lead a small team of Data Support Engineers, manage key third-party support partners and ensure our business-critical data platforms, dashboards and reporting tools are running effectively every day.

✅ Time off: 25 days holiday pro rata

✅ Exclusive discounts: Up to 55% off for you, your partner, and loved ones

✅ Inclusive benefits: Enhanced maternity, paternity, pension, sick pay & life assurance

✅ Career development: Fantastic training opportunities, including funding for qualifications

As Data Support Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day support of Moto's data platforms and reporting estate, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and services continue to meet business needs. You'll focus on creating a proactive, scalable support function that drives continuous improvement rather than simply reacting to problems.

  • Leading and developing a team of Data Support Engineers
  • Managing workloads, priorities, performance and development conversations
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Moto's third-party data support provider
  • Monitoring service performance and holding suppliers accountable against agreed SLAs
  • Managing escalations, incidents and support requests across the data and reporting landscape
  • Driving improvements to data quality and identifying recurring issues at source
  • Working closely with Data Platform and Analytics teams to prioritise changes and enhancements
  • Implementing automation, monitoring and alerting to reduce manual intervention
  • Ensuring users have access to the training, documentation and support required to self-serve where possible
  • Producing regular service performance reporting and insights for leadership teams
  • Supporting governance, compliance and information security requirements across data services.

We're looking for a people-focused leader with strong service management experience and a passion for delivering excellent support.

  • Experience managing an IT, data support or managed service function
  • A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and service level agreements
  • Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks
  • An understanding of business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Prefect or similar solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience managing service performance metrics
  • Confidence leading meetings, presenting updates and building relationships across multiple business functions

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience working within hospitality, retail, forecourt or multi-site operations
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality or information security
  • Understanding of operational systems such as EPOS, labour management, inventory or workforce data.

This is an opportunity to join a growing Data, Analytics & AI function at a time of significant investment and transformation. You'll play a key role in shaping how data services are supported across the business, while helping teams gain greater value from the information they rely on every day.

You'll be trusted to drive improvements, influence stakeholders at all levels and help create a support function that enables the wider business to make smarter, data-driven decisions.

If you're passionate about service excellence, data support and developing people, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help power the data platforms that keep Moto moving.🚀
