Job description

Sytner Harold Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Panel Beater Technician to join our talented Bodyshop team.

As a Sytner Panel Beater Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality vehicle body repairs, restoring vehicles to the manufacturer's standards and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.

Your responsibilities will include assessing vehicle damage, repairing and replacing damaged body panels, realigning vehicle structures where required, and preparing vehicles for the next stage of the repair process. You will be expected to follow manufacturer repair methods, health and safety procedures and quality standards to ensure every vehicle is repaired to the highest possible standard.

Our Panel Beater Technicians play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, working closely with colleagues across the Bodyshop to ensure vehicles are repaired right first time and returned to customers in excellent condition.

Sytner Panel Beater Technicians work a variety of flexible patterns, which can typically include weekends, to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

Previous experience as a Panel Beater is essential, ideally within a busy Bodyshop environment. You will have a strong understanding of vehicle body repair techniques, the ability to interpret repair instructions and the skills required to deliver accurate, high-quality repairs within estimated timescales.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Strong time management, organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are also essential.

You will be proactive, reliable and passionate about delivering exceptional results, understanding the importance of both repair quality and productivity in a fast-paced Bodyshop environment.

Don't worry if you are not currently working with BMW, we have the training, manufacturer support and facilities to help you make the next big step in your career.

When applying for this role please consider that we require candidates to have experience within a Bodyshop environment in the automotive industry as a minimum requirement for this position.
