Job description

Sytner Harold Wood currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician to join our talented Bodyshop team.

As a Sytner Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of vehicle repair and refurbishment tasks, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

The role will involve undertaking a range of Bodyshop repairs, which may include panel beating, minor cosmetic repairs, SMART repairs, plastic repairs, vehicle preparation and other associated repair activities, depending on your skills and experience.

You will be expected to work flexibly across different areas of the Bodyshop, supporting the wider team to maximise productivity, maintain quality standards and ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timescales.

You will take pride in your workmanship, follow manufacturer repair methods and health and safety procedures, and contribute to delivering an outstanding customer experience by ensuring every vehicle is repaired right first time.

Our Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technicians work a variety of flexible patterns, which can typically include weekends, to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

Previous experience in a Bodyshop or vehicle repair environment is essential, with a broad skill set across multiple areas of vehicle repair being highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, technically capable and confident working across a variety of repair tasks. You will have a strong eye for detail, take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and understand the importance of completing repairs efficiently without compromising safety or quality.

Strong time management, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads are essential. You will also be a team player who is willing to support colleagues across the Bodyshop, learn new techniques and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Don't worry if you are not currently working with BMW, we have the training, manufacturer support and facilities to help you make the next big step in your career.

When applying for this role please consider that we require candidates to have experience within a Bodyshop environment in the automotive industry as a minimum requirement for this position.
