If you're looking to accelerate your marketing career, this could be the perfect next step. As our Assistant Marketing Manager - Social, PR and Brand, you'll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of brand-building activities, from social media and PR to content and communications.
Supporting both our PR & Social Media Manager and Brand & Communications Manager, you'll play an important role in delivering campaigns that connect with customers, enhance brand visibility and contribute to business growth.
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

- Coordinating social media and PR content calendars, ensuring campaigns and communications are delivered on time and aligned to business objectives.
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of social media, PR and brand campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to support future activity.
- Helping maintain our brand guidelines and digital asset platform, ensuring all communications and marketing materials are consistent and on-brand.
- Coordinating the creation and delivery of marketing content and communications, including campaign assets, internal communications and employer branding initiatives.
- Conducting market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities and insights that support our marketing strategy.
- Providing project coordination and administrative support across Social, PR and Brand activity, including agency management, budget tracking and campaign delivery.
- 1-2 years' experience in a marketing, social media, PR, brand or communications role, either through employment, a placement year or internship.
- A good understanding of social media platforms and content scheduling tools, with a passion for creating engaging content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences and channels.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good digital marketing knowledge and an interest in emerging trends, platforms and best practice.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn, develop and take ownership of tasks.
- Experience within a telecommunications, retail, e-commerce or subscription-based business would be advantageous, but is not essential.
We know our people are the secret to our success. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to reward great work. You’ll find a host of benefits designed to work for you, including:
- Performance related bonus.
- Competitive pension scheme.
- Product discounts on the latest tech.
- A range of wellbeing initiatives.
- Hybrid working; our primary Currys Campus is at Waterloo (WeWork) with an expectation to meet in person 2-4 times per month.
Join our team and we'll be with you every step of the way, helping you develop the career you want with new opportunities, on-going training and skills for life.
Not only can you shape your own future, but you can help take charge of ours too. As the biggest recycler and repairer of tech in the UK, we’re in a position to make a real impact on people and the planet.
Every voice has a space at our table and we're committed to making inclusion and diversity part of everything we do, including how we strengthen our workforce.
