Job description
As Account Specialist, you are the engine room of your brand’s creative output. You own day-to-day project delivery – keeping multiple workstreams moving simultaneously, maintaining quality, and ensuring every piece of work that enters the studio is properly briefed, accurately tracked, and delivered to the highest standard.
This is a delivery-focused role that requires someone who is equally comfortable writing a production timeline for a retail rollout and consolidating stakeholder feedback on a brand campaign. You work closely with the Account & Project Manager, who oversees the account and sets the standard, and with the Lead Studio Manager, who controls resourcing.
Your job is to make sure the work moves efficiently, professionally, and correctly through the studio – and that nothing falls through the cracks.
You will need to know your craft deeply – production processes across multiple output types, how to build a schedule that accounts for dependencies, and when to pull in a Strategist or Creative Director to strengthen the work. You are not doing this alone, but you are responsible for it.
What you’ll be doing
- Build trusted day-to-day relationships with marketing, product and commercial stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
- Lead client meetings and briefing sessions, confidently presenting creative or strategic work and guiding stakeholders through the delivery process.
- Interrogate incoming requests and develop clear, actionable briefs that give creative teams the insight and direction they need.
- Manage multiple creative projects from brief to delivery, taking ownership of timelines, budgets, quality and stakeholder alignment.
- Create detailed project plans that account for dependencies, approval stages, production requirements and delivery risks.
- Coordinate work across studio, creative, strategy, legal and external supplier teams to keep activity moving efficiently.
- Consolidate stakeholder feedback, resolve conflicting input and ensure creative teams receive clear and constructive direction.
- Oversee production across channels such as retail, direct mail, video, digital, social, print, SMS and merchandise.
- Maintain accurate project information within Screendragon, or an equivalent workflow management platform.
- Manage approval processes, project costs and purchase orders, identifying risks or potential overspend at an early stage.
- Review creative outputs throughout delivery to ensure they meet the brief, brand standards, technical requirements and channel specifications.
- Improve ways of working by sharing learning, contributing ideas and taking accountability for successful project delivery
- Proven account management experience within a creative agency, advertising, content or comparable creative environment, with direct ownership of client relationships and meetings.
- Strong experience managing multiple creative projects from brief to delivery, including project planning, production timelines, dependencies, budgets and approvals.
- Confident stakeholder management and presentation skills, supported by commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm across competing priorities
- Production knowledge across retail, direct mail, video, social, digital, print, SMS, merchandise or other multi-channel creative outputs.
- Experience writing creative briefs and presenting creative or strategic work to clients.
- Experience working with third-party agencies, production partners or specialist suppliers.
- Familiarity with Screendragon or a similar workflow and project management tool.
- Experience managing project budgets, purchase orders and financial tracking.
- Background within an in-house agency or exposure to telecommunications, technology or consumer brands.
- Understanding of brand and performance marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with agile ways of working and presenting to senior stakeholder
